Since 1959, farmer, Joakim Stampe has been around in Burgundy and gathered together stones and walls that have witnessed, or themselves been part in a large or small stories. A wise man once said that : The stones are not dead, we humans are living merely for a short period for see their movement Like an archaeological excavation has Joakim Stampe uncovered different stories, mineral memories with the help of brushes and long talks with stones, walls and other human remains.
During 2010 Joakim Stampe worked his way through 7 different locations in Burgundy, in the year 2011, an additional eight sites will be added to The Heavy Archives _ France.
